Bronze wine vessels were popular during the Shang and Zhou dynasties
Appearance and structure: The main physical features of the bronze knight are a deep cylindrical belly, with a flow in the front and a tail at the back. There are often double columns at the intersection of the flow and mouth, and there is a notch on one side of the belly. The belly has three pointed high feet at the bottom. Flow refers to the long groove at the front end of the wine vessel used for pouring wine, while the tail is the rear end opposite to the flow. The double columns are usually located at the junction of the flow and the mouth, and the stem is a convenient handle for holding. The three pointed and high feet make the wine vessel stable. Bronze MG adopts a multi block composite casting process, which first uses clay to make a model, then separates the inner and outer molds, combines them to form a cavity, and then pours copper water to form it. This technology was a major breakthrough at the time, laying the technological foundation for the flourishing of bronze casting in the later Shang and Zhou dynasties
