Domestically circulated: The Shuangyang Zun from the Shang Dynasty was unearthed in Ningxiang County, Hunan Province during the Qing Dynasty. Later, it was presented to the court and collected in the Yuanmingyuan in Beijing, which won the favor of Emperor Qianlong.
Lost overseas: In 1860, the British and French coalition invaded Beijing and set fire to the Old Summer Palace. This Shang Dynasty Double Sheep Zun was brought back to England as a trophy by the British invading army, and after many twists and turns, it was finally collected by the British Museum to this day.
