Inscription: The left and right neck backs of the tiger each have the same staggered gold seal script inscription. The 12 character inscription reads: “The symbol of the armored soldiers is on the right side of the emperor and on the left side of the Yangling Mausoleum.” The text is arranged in two columns along the longitudinal axis from the tiger’s neck to the crotch, and the reading order is from right to left in two columns, from top to bottom in each column.
